When installing a new shed or playground the base area where the shed sits will need to be leveled. We measure the outline of the overall area and then remove all of the organic material from that area. We then level the sub-grade within that area. We use a mechanical plate compactor to compact the grade. We then add crushed bluestone to the area and bring the foundation up to the desired grade.
A transit is set up to establish that that all areas are level.
